CHORUS – Anti Spy System
The SAE Systems CHORUS Anti Spy System is a unique countermeasure device designed to safeguard the privacy of conversations and prevent disclosure of top secret government, business and private information through electronic eavesdropping.
It protects against any type of RF transmitter, radio, wired, directional, laser and shot-gun microphones, laser reflection pickups, stethoscopes, dictaphones, analog and digital voice recorders. It also protects against devices based on a ‘microphone effect’ principal or those that, through high-frequency imposing, can remotely activate telephone lines and turn telephones into listening devices.
CHORUS provides complete security of conversation and makes even lip-reading impossible through the use of uniquely designed microphones and noise cancelling headphones.

One of the great features of CHORUS is its versatility. It can be used not only as a stationary device inside premises, but also on the move (in the open air or in vehicles). Even if a vehicle is bugged it will bring no benefit to the eavesdroppers if CHORUS is used.
Audio signals, coming through microphones, are processed using technologically advanced methods that cut off all background noise including the one generated by CHORUS itself. Individual volume set up and microphone On/Off control is available. If intercepted, the users speech will sound like a mixture speech and the ‘vocalisation noise’ produced by CHORUS. It is virtually impossible for anyone to extract the original user's speech and differentiate it from the noise mixture due to the fact that the noise level significantly exceeds the level of the source signal. State-of-the-art audio processing methods allow the user to even whisper and still be clearly heard by his counterpart.
There are two types of generated noise: standard and synthesised speech-like voice. If required it can be based on the preliminary recorded user's speech patterns. The last option practically eliminates any possibility for anyone to recover the original acoustic data.
For simultaneous conversation of more than four people, two CHORUS sets can be connected together to increase the number of its users from four to eight.
