GUARDIAN AV 8 - Vehicle Mounted Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) Jamming System

Applications

The GUARDIAN AV 8 jamming device is placed in the vehicle boot
with a set of whip aerials fixed to the vehicle roof using quick release magnets. It is operated from the vehicle using a wired remote
controller and is powered by a vehicle onboard power source. No alternator is required.

GUARDIAN AV 8 is a splash/dust proof unit ready to work in extreme weather conditions and ensures the reliable blocking (trigger activation) of any RCIED receiver. It is Invaluable in any battlefield and hostile environment where RCIED is a potential threat.

Two unobtrusive looking low-band stainless steel whip antennas are positioned in the middle section of the roof. Antennas’ height is 1.4 and 0.30 meters respectively.

GUARDIAN AV 8 has four covert magnet type antennas placed along the roof rack. Their dimensions: Base diameter – 95 mm. Height – 40 mm.

Due to its small dimensions the GUARDIAN AV 8 keeps a low profile inside the vehicle’s boot.

GUARDIAN AV 8 can be easily dismounted from one vehicle and installed on another by one person in no time at all.

Control unit

The GUARDIAN AV 8 control unit is neatly placed between the driver’s and passenger’s seats.

In case of any malfunction, the control unit provides a visual and audible alarm.
