Portable Remote Control RoadBlocker

Made from high density plastic incorporating hollow steel needles, 6.5m long, 0.27m wide and weighing 16kg, The RoadBlocker is rated for use against vehicles up to 2tons. When activated the steel needles raise immediately (<1 sec) by remote or manual control rupturing the tires and causing the target vehicle stop in a controlled manner within a short distance. Principal advantages: Wireless operation allows remote activation from a safe area.

Operation

  1. The battery when charged sufficiently maintains the normal operation voltage between 11V-13.5V.
  2. One side of the two meter length power cable is connected to the control box and the other side is connected to the RoadBlocker.
  3. Switch the RoadBlocker on and the power light illuminates. Draw out the receiving antenna to increase the remote control distance.
  4. To activate, press the large button on the remote control when target vehicle appears. The hollow steel spikes raise immediately within one second rupturing the target vehicle tires.
  5. Press the smaller button on the remote control after finishing task. The steel spikes will retract into the block, allowing other vehicles to pass over safely.
  6. The RoadBlocker can be stored and transported easily in just one case, enabling it to be easily carried in a vehicle trunk and moved from site to another.
  7. A DC power supply cable is provided in addition to the battery in the control box, with a 15 meter length power supply cable for connecting the plug in the control box or a car cigarette lighter as an alternate source of energy.

   

Indicator Light

  1. Power light - The power light illuminates when the RoadBlocker is switched on.
  2. Power deficient light - When the power of the battery is lower than 11V, this light illuminates and indicates that the battery needs recharging. The light also illuminates when recharging.
  3. Approx 8 hours is required for recharging.
  4. Working light - The two lights on the control box illuminate red when the spikes are raised.
